1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Moskitoss, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Moskitoss regarding your use of our platform and services.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

2 Platform Use

Permitted Use

Moskitoss is designed for community-based mosquito surveillance activities. You may use our platform to:

  • Participate in mosquito surveillance activities
  • Submit accurate mosquito-related data
  • Access educational resources and training materials
  • Collaborate with other community members

Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3 User Responsibilities

Data Accuracy

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Update your profile when necessary
  • Report data errors promptly

Account Security

  • Keep your password secure
  • Do not share account credentials
  • Report suspicious activity

4 Data Collection and Use

By using Moskitoss, you understand that your contributions support important public health research and surveillance activities.

Data Ownership

You retain ownership of the data you submit, but grant us license to use it for research and public health purposes.

Research Use

Anonymized data may be used for scientific research, publication, and policy development to improve public health outcomes.

5 Intellectual Property

Platform Content

All content, features, and functionality of Moskitoss, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit, but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, modify, and distribute such content for the purposes of operating and improving our services.

6 Prohibited Activities

You must not:

Submit false or misleading information
Interfere with platform operations
Attempt unauthorized access
Share inappropriate or harmful content
Violate applicable laws or regulations
Use automated systems inappropriately

7 Limitation of Liability

Moskitoss is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of our platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential, arising from:

  • Use or inability to use our services
  • Errors or inaccuracies in platform content
  • Unauthorized access to your account
  • Service interruptions or technical issues

8 Termination

Account Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use Moskitoss will cease immediately. However, anonymized data may be retained for research purposes as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
